Hopefully Something A Little Different...
10 Facts About Me...
1 - Seeing double - I'm an identical twin. So if you wave and I have a awkward look on my face as I wave back looking like I don't know who you are, it's probably not me! I'm very good with faces and always remember couples and families I work with.
2 - Bride before photographer - I was a bride before I was a photographer, I understand how daunting it can be searching for the right suppliers to be with you on your day.
3 - We got married - I married Ben in 2017 at The Ashes Barns in Staffordshire.
4 - Dog love - I have a beagle named Toby, we adopted him in 2017. He is a typical cheeky beagle, loveable and energetic.
5 - Cheshire born and raised - I'm originally from Cheshire but currently living in Oxfordshire short term due to Bens work. I spend most of the wedding season in Cheshire and I love it. We will be settling down in our home in Cheshire when the time is right.
6 - Self taught - I'm a self taught photographer but I have had a couple of mentoring sessions for tips and help on the business side of things. For more details on how I became a photographer and took the leap to start my business take a look at my blog post.
7 - Netflix and edit - whilst editing you'll find me hours deep in crime dramas and documentaries. Feel free to send over your recommendations.
8 - Beach live - I love sitting on the beach listening to the sea.
9 - Getting to know you - I enjoy getting to know my clients!
10 - Friends - I've had the same close group of friends since primary school. With a couple of additions through out the years too!
Things I Love....
Things I Dislike....
1 - Dogs - big or small, I'm that person at a party that says hi to the dog.
2 - Nights in under a blanket.
3 - Long walks (I know, it's starting to sound like a dating profile)
4 - My husband...probably should have put him first.
5 - Food - I'm a proper foodie. I'll try almost anything once.
1- Unbearable hot days. I'm ginger, we don't cope well.
2- Noisy neighbours
3- Hard toffee type sweets, just thinking about them makes me feel funny.
4- Great films with terrible endings.
5- Going to bed only to find my bedding is still in the washing machine.
Why I Love What I Do
There's something special about being behind the camera. I love spotting moments that pass so quickly and making them last forever in a photograph. It sounds cheesy I know! It doesn't matter if it isn't a technically perfect photo, emotion overrides technical perfection and it's taken me a long time to realise this. Telling the story of each couples wedding is important to me. When you look back at your photos there's a story to your gallery. I want you to get that excited feeling in your stomach when you look at them!
